Permanent LED lighting · Calgary & surrounding areas
Glowix fits a slim, hidden LED track under your eaves and gables, wires it to a controller, and hands you the app. Red and green in December, orange in October, warm white on an ordinary Tuesday — all from your phone, all year, no ladder in it anywhere.
The annual ritual
They enjoy the house looking good. The part with the ladder, the extension cord and the frozen fingers is just the toll.
See it lit
Same fixtures, different night. Tap through a few of the scenes homeowners actually use — then imagine doing it from the couch instead of the driveway.
Glowix app
Everyday warm
The setting most homeowners leave on all year — soft 2400K white that reads as architectural lighting, not decoration.
A working sketch of the app, not a photo of your house. Tap a scene to see how the same fixtures change character.
From here to lit
Send the form or call. We ask for your address, the shape of the house, and what you want lit — eaves, gables, a garage, a pergola.
Most quotes come from satellite measurements plus a short call. Larger or steeper homes get a walk-around. You get a fixed number in writing.
Track is fastened under the eave, diodes are seated facing out, and wiring is routed to a discreet controller near an exterior outlet. Typical homes are done in a day.
Before we leave, we pair the system to your phone, build your first few scenes with you, and set the schedule so the lights handle themselves.
What gets installed
The channel tucks into the shadow line under your eave and is colour-matched to the fascia. From the sidewalk you see trim, not a light strip.
Colours, brightness, zones, schedules and scenes from your phone. Set it to fade on at dusk and off at midnight and forget it exists.
Sealed IP67 diodes and outdoor-rated track that live through chinooks, hail and −40 nights without coming down.
Every holiday, every team, every mood, plus warm whites that look like a lighting designer specified them.
Light the gable alone, the garage alone, or the whole front elevation. Zones are set up during install and renameable in the app.
LED draw across a typical front elevation is in the range of a couple of household bulbs, and dimming pulls it lower still.
Straight answers
Yes. You get a written price with no deposit, no site-visit fee and no obligation. If the number is not what you hoped, that is the end of it — we do not chase homeowners.
Track is fastened to the fascia or under the shingle edge with the manufacturer-specified hardware, not stapled through your roofing membrane. Penetrations are sealed. If your fascia is in rough shape we will tell you before we quote rather than after.
It is installed once and stays. There is no ladder in November, no clips, no burnt-out mid-string, no January takedown, and no storage bin. The rest of the year it runs as warm architectural lighting instead of sitting in the garage.
Often yes — we work through Calgary winters and only stop for ice, high wind or extreme cold, for our crew’s safety and for a clean install. If we have to move your date, we tell you early.
Diodes are individually addressable, so a single failure does not take out the run. Components carry a manufacturer warranty and our workmanship is covered — we come back and repair the affected section.
Almost never. The system runs on low-voltage power from a controller plugged into an exterior outlet. If your home has no outlet where we need one, we will flag it in the quote.
A measured, written price with nothing attached to it. If it is not for you this year, that is a perfectly fine outcome.
